A 55% AlZn protective layer of 100-200g/m2 is hot-plated on the steel substrate. The corrosion resistance is mainly due to the protective function of aluminum. When zinc is worn, aluminum forms a dense layer of aluminum oxide, preventing corrosion-resistant substances from further corroding the interior. The alkali corrosion resistance is weak; the protection life is 8-15 years.
The coating components around the cutting surface continue to dissolve, forming a dense protective film mainly composed of zinc hydroxide, alkaline zinc chloride and magnesium hydroxide. This protective film has low conductivity and has an inhibitory effect on the corrosion of the cutting surface.
Since the super corrosion resistance is 10-20 times that of ordinary hot-dip galvanized sheets and the corrosion-resistant self-healing effect of the cut section, components made of hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium steel sheets and alloy-coated sheets will naturally have a long service life. Generally, In some cases, it can reach more than 30 years.
