Introduction to Plastic Magnetic Pumps
Plastic magnetic pumps are specialized devices designed for the safe and efficient transfer of various chemicals and fluids. These pumps are particularly popular in industries where handling corrosive or hazardous materials is common, due to their unique construction and operational benefits.
Key Features:
Corrosion Resistance: Made from high-quality plastic materials such as polypropylene (PP) or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), these pumps offer exceptional resistance to a wide range of corrosive chemicals, ensuring long-term durability and reliability.
Leak-Free Design: The magnetic drive mechanism eliminates the need for traditional shaft seals, significantly reducing the risk of leaks and contamination. This design feature makes them ideal for applications requiring stringent safety standards.
Efficient Operation: Plastic magnetic pumps are known for their high efficiency and energy-saving capabilities. The absence of mechanical seals reduces friction and wear, leading to lower maintenance costs and longer service life.
Chemical Compatibility: These pumps are compatible with a wide array of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, solvents, and more. This versatility makes them suitable for various industries such as chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, wastewater treatment, and food and beverage production.
Ease of Maintenance: With fewer moving parts and no seals to replace, plastic magnetic pumps require minimal maintenance. This simplifies the upkeep process and reduces downtime, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Applications:
The CRP-M pump range is equipped with a permanent magnetic drive in accordance with DIN EN ISO 2858, striking new paths especially for its design of the journal bearings, optimized internal flows and pressures, its high efficiency magnetic drive system and axial thrust balancing.
The hydraulics of this pump range is designed to achieve high efficiencies and low NPSHr values. The CRP-M range of magnetic drive pumps consists of 35 hydraulics to meet almost all customer's requirements and is built with the latest engineering techniques and tools such as: 3D Modeling, Finite Element Analysis and CFD-Simulation, in order to assure our customers of the best product quality.
DJ Pumps diverse range of Sealless Magnetic Coupled Pumps includes a product series manufactured from 316 stainless steel. The pump technology is unique given no seals are used to give the closed solution pump containment. The pump is operated by a synchronisation of magnetic forces. The drive magnet is connected to an electric motor which rotates and using the magnetic forces connects with the pump impeller magnet positioned inside the pump.
Our stainless steel series of pumps are ideal for use in the aerospace and automotive industries. The maximum operating temperature of the pumps is 160°C, which is ideal for processes such as potassium permanganate and ardrox cleaners. Stainless steel material provides a safe earth route when transferring potentially flammable solutions, and as such our range is suitable for ATEX zoned areas
